Melissa Chua

Melissa Chua has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Melissa started their career as a Media Coordinator at the Academy for Entrepreneurial Leadership at the University of Illinois in 2010. Melissa then worked as a Consultant and Israel Immersion Coordinator in the Innovation Immersion Program from 2012 to 2014. Melissa also served as a Marketing Associate and Brand Strategist at LaSalle Investment Management from 2015 to 2017. Melissa later joined Redmellon Restoration & Development as a Preservation Outreach Consultant from 2018 to 2020. In 2014, Melissa worked in marketing at Boulder Weekly and concurrently engaged in documentary filmmaking with Voices of Khumbu, focusing on the social and environmental impacts of tourism on the Sherpa community in Nepal. From 2011 to 2015, Melissa worked in Videography and Content Creation at the College of Business at the University of Illinois. Melissa also served as the Marketing Director at Acheson Doyle Partners Architects, P.C., a New York City-based architectural design and preservation consulting firm, starting in 2021. Currently, Melissa holds the position of Architectural Designer at Concordia LLC, a multidisciplinary design team in New Orleans.
