Abby Curnow-Chavez is a Senior Client Partner in Korn Ferry’s Consulting practice. She works with clients to design and implement talent and organizational solutions, and she is an executive coach to many C-level leaders.

Her primary focus is in the Industrial and Technology markets, and she serves as the Advisory leader in Korn Ferry’s Mining and Metals practice.

Ms. Curnow-Chavez has a proven track record of transforming organizations and aligning talent strategies for growth. With 25 years of experience driving organizational change and transformation, she has spent much of her career working with and for large global companies. Within Korn Ferry, Abby works with several of the largest industrial and technology companies in the world.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Ms. Curnow-Chavez held top leadership roles in HR and Talent, with 10 years at Newmont Mining. She launched her career within Accenture’s strategic change management and human performance practice and more recently was a senior partner in a boutique leadership and organizational consulting firm.

Her areas of expertise include culture and business transformation, senior team performance, strategy facilitation, global talent strategy, leadership development, executive coaching, operating model and organization design, and change management. She is particularly passionate about unleashing the potential of leaders to elevate their capabilities to make significant business impact.

Ms. Curnow-Chavez serves as Executive Faculty in the EMBA program at the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business. She is the co-author of The Loyalist Team: How Trust, Candor, and Authenticity Create Great Organizations and is published in HBR, Inside Business, Forbes, and other key publications.

She holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Development from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado – Boulder. She received her executive coaching credentials from Columbia University.
