Jon Sappey

Jon Sappey has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning different industries and roles. Jon is the Founder of Strategy, Creativity, and Leadership LLC since 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Strategy/Frameworks Advisor at School of International Futures (SOIF) from 2022. Jon also worked as a Strategy and Communications Consultant at AchieveNEXT in 2021 and as a Principal Consultant at INSTEP, Inc. in 2020.

From 2018 to 2021, Jon held the position of Director of Strategy at Vertex Inc., where they led various strategic initiatives. Jon also served as the Director of Industry Relations at Vertex Inc. from 2010 to 2018, where they played a key role in positioning the Vertex brand and driving global expansion strategy.

Before joining Vertex Inc., Jon was the Vice President and General Manager at Delmarva Millwork Corporation from 2004 to 2010. Jon also worked as a Principal at Perspective Inc. from 2009 to 2010.

Starting their career at Vertex Inc. in 1997, Jon held the role of Director/Manager of Corporate and Marketing Communications until 2004.

Jon Sappey completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English & American Literature & Language at Harvard University from 1980 to 1984. Jon then pursued further education in management, earning a Master's degree in Public and Private Management (MPPM) from the Yale School of Management during 1991 to 1992.
