Stefania Zona

Stefania Zona is a highly experienced scientist currently serving as Senior Scientist II in Translational Science Immunomonitoring at Achilles Therapeutics plc since July 2024. Previously, Stefania held the position of Senior Scientist Project Lead at Touchlight from February 2022 to January 2024 and worked as a Senior Scientist at GlaxoSmithKline Pharma GmbH between June 2018 and October 2022. Prior roles include serving as a Cell Engineering Scientist at Oxford Genetics Ltd and as a Research Associate at Imperial College London. Stefania earned a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Kent, with a focus on the "Quantification of molecular biomarkers in breast cancer diagnosis," after completing a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in Molecular Biology at Università degli Studi di Urbino Carlo Bo.
