Bianca Tetteroo

Bianca Tetteroo joined the Executive Board in June 2015 and became chair in April 2021. Mrs Tetteroo qualified as a chartered accountant in 1997 and completed her information management studies at Nyenrode Business Universiteit. She has also completed several executive training programmes in corporate governance and leadership (Insead). She started her career in 1988 at what is now the accountancy firm Mazars. In 1996 she started working in the financial sector at the former Fortis. In 2009, she moved to Achmea, where she became finance director of Syntrus Achmea. From 2012 to mid-2015, Mrs Tetteroo was chair of the Pension & Life division in 2012.

Ms Tetteroo is responsible for Achmea Pension Services, Achmea Investment Management, Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance, Strategie (Corporate Strategy & MVO), Achmea IT, Administrative Office, Corporate Communication and Internal Audit. She is a member of the Supervisory Board of Achmea Investment Management B.V. and Syntrus Achmea Real Estate and Finance B.V. In addition, Ms Tetteroo is on the Supervisory Board of Netspar and the Kunsthal Rotterdam. She is also a Board member of Garanti Emiklilik and, since October 2020, she has been a member of the Dutch Council for Cooperatives (Nationale Coöperatieve Raad).
