Alexandra Saavedra

Alexandra Saavedra has extensive work experience in various roles related to marketing, communications, and social media.

Alexandra'smost recent position is as a Demand Generation Manager at Achronix Semiconductor Corporation, starting in December 2021.

Prior to this, they worked at Digital Silk - Growing Brands Online, where they held the role of Social Media Director starting in January 2023. Before that, they were the Assistant Social Media Director from July 2021 to January 2023.

From August 2017 to November 2021, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at SAAV Media Co, where they were responsible for overseeing the company's operations.

Alexandra also has experience at BCV as an Account Supervisor from February 2020 to July 2020, and as a Senior Account Executive from August 2019 to February 2020. In these roles, they managed a team, developed social media strategies, and provided reputation and crisis management services for hotel clients.

Alexandra worked as the Gerente de Marketing, Comunicaciones, y Alianzas at Endeavor Perú from June 2016 to August 2017. In this position, they were in charge of marketing, communications, and partnerships for an entrepreneurship organization in Lima.

Before that, Alexandra worked at Sparkloft Media as a Senior Social Media Strategist from June 2015 to June 2016. Alexandra created and managed social media strategies for clients in the travel and tourism industry, as well as overseeing a team of community managers and strategists.

Alexandra'sprevious roles include Digital Marketing Manager at Greater Giving from September 2013 to June 2015, Network Adoptions Officer at Enli Health Intelligence from May 2013 to September 2013, and Liaison & Social Media Officer at the University of Geneva from February 2013 to May 2013.

Alexandra began their career as an Intern in International & Movement Relations at IFRC from June 2012 to February 2013.

Alexandra Saavedra completed their high school education at Catlin Gabel School (Liberal Arts) from 1991 to 2004, where they received their High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Alexandra then attended Colegio Franklin D. Roosevelt (American School of Peru) from 2004 to 2007, where they pursued The International Baccalaureate Program for their high school education. Alexandra went on to attend Santa Clara University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science (B.S.). In 2009, they briefly studied at American University, specializing in Peace and Conflict Resolution.
