Bruno Maes

Bruno Maes is a finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and auditing. Currently serving as a Controller at Ackermans & van Haaren since June 2023, Bruno previously held the position of Financial Controller at Fiberklaar from March 2022 to June 2023. Bruno began a career at KPMG Belgium, progressing through roles including Auditor, Supervisor Audit, and Assistant Manager Audit from September 2017 to March 2022. Earlier, Bruno worked as a Sales Promoter for Hamilton Bright, where recognition was attained as 'sales promoter of the month' in December 2016. Bruno holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics - Business Administration, cum laude, from the University of Antwerp and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from the same institution, complemented by studies at Heriot-Watt University.
