Alvin Jackson

Alvin Jackson has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Alvin started their career at Lockheed Martin as a Senior Engineer, where they managed the development of applications for airframe structural analysis. Alvin then moved on to Accenture, where they worked as a Release Manager, responsible for managing the development of a telecom business customer ordering system application.

After that, Alvin joined BroadBand Office as a Senior Manager, where they directed the development and deployment of various product lines, including web hosting and customer service portals. Alvin then transitioned to Nexus Energy Software, where they worked as a Project Manager and Senior Project Manager, providing consulting and implementation services for energy management software products.

In 2006, Alvin joined Aclara and held multiple leadership positions, starting as the Director of Professional Services. In this role, they managed a team responsible for delivering software products to utility customers across the US. Alvin also played a lead role in business development, contract management, and risk and issue oversight.

Later, Alvin became the Vice President of Professional Services at Aclara, where they provided leadership and direction for the Professional Services group. Alvin was responsible for overseeing the implementation teams and ensuring the successful delivery of Aclara's AMI solutions and smart infrastructure products.

Most recently, Alvin served as the Vice President of Aclara Smart Grid Solutions, where they provided leadership and direction for Aclara's smart meter installation services business. Their responsibilities included utility and customer engagement, staff acquisition, software integration, and post-installation support.

Throughout their career, Alvin has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions to clients.

Alvin Jackson completed their undergraduate education at the University of Washington from 1986 to 1991. Alvin obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering during this time. Following their undergraduate studies, Alvin pursued higher education at Stanford University from 1991 to 1993. Alvin earned a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Stanford.
