Sopheap Char

Sopheap Char has accumulated extensive experience in the banking and education sectors, currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of Product Development Division at ACLEDA Bank Plc. since August 2018, while also holding various management positions within the same institution since August 1996. Additionally, Sopheap Char has been actively involved with The Association of Banks in Cambodia since January 2017, occupying roles such as Vice Chairman of the Payment Committee and Chairman of the Subcommittee for various initiatives. Sopheap Char has also contributed to the education sector by resigning from the chairman position at Planet International School in January 2023. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the National University of Management, Cambodia, and a BBA in Business, Management, and Marketing from the same institution, complemented by further education from Harvard Business School Online and Thomson Reuters.
