Briana Cravanas

Briana Cravanas is a legal professional currently serving as a Fellow at the ACLU of Northern California since August 2023. Cravanas gained valuable experience as a Legal Intern at the Just Cities Institute from January to April 2023 and as a Legislative Intern for Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel during the latter half of 2022 at the California State Assembly. Previous positions include a Summer Intern role with the ACLU of Northern California's Criminal Justice Team and with the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area's Racial Justice Team. Cravanas also worked as an Intake Supervisor and Law Clerk at the Law Offices of John L. Burris from June 2015 to July 2020. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis - School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University-Sacramento, and an Associate of Arts in Political Science from Berkeley City College.
