David Winston

David Winston has over 25 years of work experience in finance and accounting roles. David started their career in 1995 as a Credit Officer at Rural Press before moving up to Assistant Accountant, Accountant, and eventually Senior Accountant. In 2007, they joined Fairfax Media as a Commercial Finance Manager, where they were responsible for financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning for multiple divisions. David then became a Commercial Finance Director, overseeing the financial management of printing sites, distribution warehouses, and logistics networks. In 2018, Winston joined Nine as a Commercial Finance Director, where they managed financial operations and successfully completed the due diligence process for a business sale. In 2019, they joined Australian Community Media as a Commercial Finance Director, leading strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and transformation projects.

David Winston completed the CPA Australia Program from 2012 to 2014 but did not receive a degree or specify a field of study.
