Mark Taimre

Mark Taimre is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as the Business Optimisation Manager at ACOR Consultants Pty Ltd since July 2013. At ACOR, Mark leads the Business Optimisation Team to streamline internal processes through digital technology and has played a pivotal role in developing the Petrochemical and Dangerous Goods sectors on the East Coast. Prior to this, Mark held positions such as Senior Project Engineer and Project Engineer, working on significant projects including the hazardous area compliance for RAAF Base Pearce and the bulk diesel storage facility at Port Melville. Earlier career roles at ABCO Water Systems included General Manager and Technical & Development Manager, where Mark integrated quality management systems and oversaw company performance. Mark holds a Master's Degree in Engineering Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Curtin University of Technology.
