Matthew Barclay

Matthew Barclay has a strong background in IT services and account management. Matthew has held roles such as Director of Account Management and Account Director at Acora - Managed IT Services, where they were responsible for growing revenues and managing customer portfolios. Matthew also served as a Client Services Director, overseeing the management of Acora's city-based/financial sector portfolio. Prior to their time at Acora, Matthew worked as a Technical Account Manager at ADA and held a position as a Senior Technical Analyst at Bird & Bird, a leading commercial law firm. Matthew also gained experience as a Senior Infrastructure Analyst at MGM Advantage, where they were responsible for the control, design, and administration of production servers and network infrastructure. Matthew Barclay attended Durrington High School in Worthing from 1988 to 1992. After high school, they went on to study at Northbrook College Worthing, where they obtained a National Diploma in Computing from 1992 to 1994. In 1994, Matthew enrolled at Hertfordshire University and earned a Business Information Technology Higher National Diploma and a Diploma in Information Technology Applications by 1996. Matthew also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Portsmouth from 1994 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Matthew obtained certifications as a Netapp Certified Sales Professional from NetApp in 2016 and as a Sales Specialist Assessment for Datacenter from Microsoft in 2015.
