Giri Addanki

Giri Addanki is the Founder and CEO of Acorn Finance. Prior to Acorn, they were the founder of Mindful Meal, a Corporate Wellness SaaS Platform that helps corporations and insurance companies lower healthcare costs by getting busy employees and their families eat healthier and save time & money. Mindful Meal empowers employees create highly personalized Meal Plans and Grocery Lists.

Before starting Mindful Meal, Giri worked in strategy development at CitiMortgage and Barclays. At CitiMortgage, they created and executed key strategic decisions by relying on high level of quantitative analysis. Giri also lead Competitor Reviews and Insights that involved analyzing financial and non-financial trends of key players in the mortgage industry. Additionally, Giri built a framework to expand mortgages in 16 key countries including China, India, Mexico and Malaysia.

At Barclays, Giri was responsible for Product Strategy and Decision Management. In this role, they oversaw the development and launch of new products as well as the management of existing products. Giri also developed strategies to grow existing product lines and entered new markets.

Giri started their career at Capital One as a Business Manager for Marketing Analysis & Product Development. In this role, they were responsible for developing marketing plans, analyzing customer data, and managing product development projects. Giri also worked on new product launches and rebranding initiatives.

Giri has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Rutgers University.

Giri Addanki's educational career includes completing an MBA in Finance from the Darla Moore School of Business, as well as becoming a Chartered Accountant through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in the field of accounting and finance.
