James Harkins

James Harkins has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries and roles. James started their career as an intern at Johnson & Johnson, where they gained experience in finance and pharmaceutical research and development. James then worked as an equity research analyst at the Arnone-Lerer Fund, where they managed a large cap equity fund and conducted equity research analysis.

After that, James joined BASF and completed the Accounting Professional Development Program, where they gained experience in financial planning and analysis, internal audit, corporate accounting, and other accounting-related roles. James also passed all four CPA exams during this time.

Following their time at BASF, James worked as a global financial analyst for the Global Catalysts Division, where they were responsible for financial planning and analysis and ad-hoc projects.

James then joined PepsiCo as a senior finance analyst, where they led financial initiatives and business analysis for the North America Nutrition division. James also conducted detailed analysis for promotional spending.

Afterwards, James joined The Boston Consulting Group as a consultant and later became a project leader. James worked on various consulting projects and gained experience in strategy and transformation.

Most recently, James worked at Acosta Group as the Senior Director of Strategy and Transformation before being promoted to VP of Strategy and Transformation. In their current role as the VP of Commercial Growth and Operations, they are responsible for driving business growth within the retail and foodservice ecosystem.

James Harkins received a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Strategy from the University of Michigan from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting, with a minor in Mathematics, from Villanova University from 2006 to 2010. In 2008, they studied History at Dublin City University. James also completed their high school education at Croton Harmon High School from 2002 to 2006. Furthermore, they hold a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the New Jersey Society of CPAs.
