Eric "ET" Thiel

Eric "ET" Thiel has a strong background in technology sales and solutions engineering. Eric "ET" is currently the Vice President-Global Solutions Engineering at Acquia, where they lead teams in implementing their enterprise Digital Experience Platform. Prior to Acquia, Thiel served as the Vice President, Sales Engineering/Solutions Architects at WP Engine and helped drive their rapid growth. Eric "ET" also worked as the Vice President, Solution Architects at Datapipe and Sales Engineer Lead at IBM's SoftLayer division. Thiel has a long history with Rackspace, where they held various roles including Director of Sales Engineering and Manager of Sales Engineers. In addition, they have experience in cloud solutions and client experience management from their time at VMware. Thiel is recognized for their technical acumen and ability to provide innovative solutions to customers.

Eric "ET" Thiel attended The University of Texas at San Antonio from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a BBA degree in Management Information Systems (MIS).
