Piotr Kowalski

Piotr Kowalski has extensive work experience in the field of DevOps and engineering. Piotr began their career as a Senior Unix System Administrator at LG CNS in 2007. After that, they worked as a System Integration and Test Engineer at Siemens AG and Gigaset Communications. In 2010, they became a Performance Test Lead at SAGEMCOM. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at Affinegy as a Senior Software and System Test Engineer, and later as a DevOps Engineer. In 2018, they joined Techloq as a DevOps Team Lead. Piotr then moved on to Coeus Cognoscenti Inc as a DevOps Consultant in 2018, and SOLTIAGO as a Co-Founder, CTO, and DevOps professional in 2017. Their most recent role is with Acreto, where they started as a DevOps Engineer in 2020 and was later promoted to Development Team Lead in 2021. Throughout their career, Piotr has demonstrated expertise in automating tasks, implementing new systems, migrating to cloud platforms, and providing support to development teams.

Piotr Kowalski has a diverse education history. In 1997, they graduated with a high school diploma from III LO im. Mikolaja Kopernika. During their time there, they studied a variety of subjects including mathematics, physics, and computer science. From 2001 to 2006, Piotr attended Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, where they obtained a MSc M.Eng. degree in Electronics and Telecommunications with a focus on Digital Signal Processing in Telecommunications. In 2012, they earned a Postgraduate Degree in Project Management from Wyższa Szkoła Bankowa we Wrocławiu. Additionally, Piotr obtained several certifications in the field of networking. In 2005, they became a Cisco Certified Network Associate with a specialization in Networking Basics. In 2006, they obtained certifications in Routers and Routing Basics, as well as Switching Basics and Intermediate Routing. Finally, in 2008, Piotr earned a certification in WAN Technologies from the Cisco Networking Academy.
