Melissa Delgado has a wealth of experience in the biotechnology field. Melissa began their career in 2009 as a Summer Intern for the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute, followed by a Graduate Researcher, Teaching Assistant and Graduate Assistant at California State University, Long Beach from 2009-2012. In 2012, they were a CIRM Intern at City of Hope, followed by Research Technician ll at the University of Southern California from 2013-2014. Melissa then returned to City of Hope as a Research Associate II from 2014-2017. From 2017-2021, Melissa worked at BioLegend as a Recombinant Antibody Development Research Associate III. During 2021, they held a Regional Manager role at ACROBiosystems and a Business Development Advisor role at bioSeedin, a subsidiary of ACROBiosystems Inc. and ACROBiosystems Co. Ltd.
Melissa Delgado has an extensive educational history. Melissa began their studies in 2005 at MiraCosta College, transferring to Northern Arizona University in 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology, General in 2009. Melissa then attended California State University-Long Beach, where they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biology, General in 2013 and a Biotechnology Certificate in June of the same year. In 2018, they began their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biology, General at the University of Washington, which they are currently pursuing. Additionally, in 2015, they obtained The Charismatic Leader Certificate from the University of California, San Diego - The Rady School of Management.
