Nereyda Salinas

Nereyda Salinas is an experienced professional in interpretation and language instruction, currently serving as a Simultaneous Interpreter at TTHM and a Remote Immigration Interpreter with ACSI Translations since 2023. In addition to these roles, Nereyda has volunteered over 200 hours as a Remote Medical Interpreter with CommunityHealth and has contributed as a Spanish Language Assessor and Role Play Facilitator for training new candidates. Nereyda is also a Corporate Trainer at Houston Community College, focusing on ESL and Spanish education. Prior experience includes teaching Spanish and ESL at various organizations, including McDonald's and Harris County Department of Education, and a role as a Human Resources Analyst at Altec Electrónica Chihuahua. Nereyda holds a BS in Industrial Relations and has completed training in Medical Interpreting with a certification as a Healthcare Interpreter.
