Advitya Paytal

Advitya Patyal is an experienced professional in product development and thermal engineering, currently serving as the Lead Product Development & Customer Success at Actasys since June 2021. At Actasys, Advitya has successfully led the development of two new product lines, managing strategy and execution across multiple customer programs while fostering collaboration with engineering and business teams. Prior to Actasys, Advitya worked at Caterpillar Inc. as a Thermal CFD Research Engineer, specializing in multi-phase flow algorithms and optimization of airflow and heat transfer systems. Academic background includes a PhD and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, along with a BE from PEC University of Technology. Additional internships at Dow AgroSciences and Cummins Inc. contributed to Advitya's expertise in statistical methods and combustion performance analysis.
