Martin Koome

Martin Koome is a seasoned professional in nutrition and health management with extensive experience in various organizations. Currently serving as the Nutrition and Health Manager for Action Against Hunger in the Horn and Eastern Africa Region since October 2021, Martin provides technical and operational guidance to health and nutrition programs. Previous roles include County Programme Co-ordinator and Maternal, Newborn Health and Nutrition Program Support Consultant at Nutrition International, where Martin ensured optimal program implementation and stakeholder partnerships. Additional positions include Senior Nutrition Program Officer at International Medical Corps and roles at Anthrologica and the University of Nairobi, contributing valuable research expertise. Martin holds a Master of Science in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Eldoret.
