Nazia Yeasmin

Nazia Yeasmin is a dedicated Programme Officer at ActionAid Bangladesh since September 2023, focusing on resilience and climate justice through the Powering Change project, which advocates for renewable energy and policy advocacy for a just energy transition. Prior to this, Nazia served as Programme Manager at Anandalok Trust for Education and Development from January 2022 to August 2023, where efforts centered on creating quality educational opportunities for out-of-school children in Bangladesh. Previous experience includes a Programme Officer role at NETZ Bangladesh from April 2016 to December 2021, where significant projects in education were completed, along with fundraising and organizational development. Nazia also worked as a Sector Specialist in Education at BRAC between August 2014 and March 2016, managing initiatives to enhance students' academic performance through peer mentoring, and served as a Sub-Editor at The Editor- Eminence in 2011. Academically, Nazia holds a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics & ELT and a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Jahangirnagar University.
