Amanda Pogue has a diverse range of work experience in the field of data science and cognitive sciences. Amanda is currently working as a Data Scientist in Product Analytics at ActionIQ since November 2020. Prior to that, Amanda worked at SparkBeyond from November 2018 to September 2020, initially as a Data Scientist and later as a Senior Data Scientist. Amanda also gained experience as a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science from June 2018 to August 2018.
Before transitioning into data science, Amanda pursued their academic interests. Amanda worked as a Graduate Student in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Rochester from August 2013 to May 2018. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Student in Developmental Psychology at the University of Waterloo from September 2010 to August 2013.
Amanda's early experience includes working as a Research Coordinator at New York University from September 2009 to August 2010. Amanda also served as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, where they worked in various labs, including the Language and Development Lab, the Theory of Mind Lab, and the Infant Language and Speech Lab, from September 2007 to May 2009. Additionally, they interned at Harvard University as a Summer Intern in 2008.
Amanda Pogue has an extensive education history. Amanda obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the University of Rochester from 2016 to 2018. Amanda's education journey began at St. Aloysius Gonzaga S.S., where they completed their secondary school education from 2001 to 2005.
In addition to their academic degrees, Amanda also holds certifications in the field of machine learning. Amanda obtained the "Machine Learning Data Lifecycle in Production" certification from Coursera in January 2022 and the "Introduction to Machine Learning in Production" certification in August 2021, also from Coursera.
