Smita Veemboor

Smita Veemboor has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Smita is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Activ Surgical, starting in September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Hyland, creator of OnBase, as a Software Developer from September 2014 to September 2021, where they were responsible for enhancements and maintenance of modules on Hyland's Healthcare Platform. Smita has also worked at F&A Data Systems Inc. as a Software Developer from February 2005 to October 2007, where they enhanced and customized a platform for warehousing and distribution. Smita has experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Medicine and Dentistry NJ from November 2003 to January 2005, where they developed evaluators and performed statistical analyses for various research projects. Smita also worked as an Installation Engineer at CenturyTel in 2003 and as a Senior Software Engineer at Amdocs from August 1999 to November 2000, where they were involved in the implementation and testing of a bill production module.

Smita Veemboor holds a Master's Degree in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, which they earned from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained their MCA (Master of Computer Applications) degree in Computer Science from Maharaja Sayajirao Univeristy, Baroda, between 1996 and 1999. In addition to their formal education, Smita Veemboor has also earned the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services in May 2021.
