M.sc Jacob-Alfred Munongo Chrm

Jacob-Alfred Munongo, M.Sc, CHRM, has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources. Jacob-Alfred is currently working as the Human Capital Director at Activa Assurances RDC since April 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Country Head of Human Resources at Access Bank RDC from April 2014 to April 2022, where they were responsible for providing various HR services, ensuring alignment with organizational vision, and managing HR infrastructure.

Before joining Access Bank, Jacob-Alfred was the Human Resources & Office Manager at iBurst Africa (Pty) Ltd from August 2012 to April 2014. Jacob-Alfred also worked as an HR Labour Law professional at Millicom International Cellular (Tigo) from December 2011 to July 2012.

Jacob-Alfred's earlier experiences include working as an HR Officer at ProCredit Bank from February 2009 to November 2011, an HR Assistant at Zain from September 2008 to January 2009, and an HR Assistant at British American Tobacco RDC from November 2005 to December 2006.

Throughout their career, Jacob-Alfred has gained expertise in recruitment, employee services, performance management, career development, and HR support for various operating entities. Jacob-Alfred'scontributions have played an integral role in promoting effective people management processes and ensuring compliance with group policies and directions.

Jacob-Alfred Munongo has a diverse education history. Jacob-Alfred obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree from HEC Liège between 2021 and 2022, specializing in Comptabilité & Audit / Marketing & Entreprenariat. Prior to that, they completed a Graduat degree in Sciences Commerciales & Administrative at Université Pédagogique Nationale from 1997 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Jacob-Alfred Munongo has also obtained several certifications. These include being a Certified Human Resources Manager (CHRM) from HRMI, which was achieved in August 2023. Jacob-Alfred also received certifications in Business Strategy from McKinsey & Company (October 2020) and IFRS General Training from PwC Nigeria (May 2019). Furthermore, they have pursued training in Enterprise Design Thinking from IBM and has undertaken courses in Relationship Marketing Strategy for Financial Services and Risk Management and Credit Principles from edX.
