John Byrne

John Byrne is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Managing Director for Enel X in Ireland and holding previous titles including Head of Operations for the UK & Ireland and Operations Manager for Europe. Since October 2014, John has been with EnerNOC as Field Operations Manager for the UK & Ireland, complementing experience as a Project Engineer. Additionally, John has worked as an Energy Project Engineer at Activation Energy and has held various engineering roles at GSH and Cobec Engineering. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Management of Operations from Dublin City University and a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Electrical & Control Technology from the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown, along with multiple certifications in electrical technology and refrigeration.
