Emma Uhl

Emma Uhl is a publishing support specialist at Public Knowledge Project, a position held since September 2020. In addition, Emma has been a freelance translator for Active Gaming Media since May 2013, specializing in Japanese to English translations. Previous roles include research assistant and digital initiatives assistant at the University of Alberta from September 2018 to April 2020, as well as a PKP student assistant at Simon Fraser University from June 2019 to January 2020. Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from the University of Alberta, where studies took place from 2012 to 2018, and also attended the University of Nagoya from 2015 to 2016 as part of the academic journey.
