Matt Lathrop

Matt Lathrop has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Matt started their career as a Nuclear Engineering Intern at Dominion in 2008. In 2010, they joined Delphi as a Software Engineer.

In 2012, Matt joined Salesforce as a Catapult Rotational Associate, where they gained experience in various roles including Software Engineer in R&D Mobile and Corporate Information Systems. During this time, they worked on projects such as creating a permission system, expanding RESTful API web service, and rewriting utilization billing system.

After completing their rotational program at Salesforce, Matt joined Connect Think in 2014 as a Team Lead & Senior Software Engineer for Mobile. Matt played a key role in refactoring packages, leading design and development of a sync engine, and architecting and developing a B2B app for iPad, iPhone, and Android devices.

In 2018, Matt joined ActiveCampaign as an Engineering Manager and later became the Senior Engineering Manager. Matt was responsible for scaling the Indianapolis hub and leading the team that developed the App Ecosystem developer framework. Matt also managed teams focused on delivering new features and performance improvements for the App Ecosystem backend systems.

Matt Lathrop obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Purdue University. Matt attended the university from 2007 to 2012.
