Wamis Singhatat

Wamis Singhatat has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Wamis began their career at ConMed Linvatec in 1999 as a Project Engineer and later became an Applied R&D Engineer. In 2005, they joined Synthes Spine as a Product Development Engineer and eventually became the Group Manager of Emerging Technologies. In 2010, they transitioned to DePuy Synthes Companies of Johnson & Johnson, where they served as a Global Market Segment Manager, WW Group Product Director for Strategic Marketing, and WW Group Product Director for Knee and Periprosthetic Fractures. Since 2015, they have been with ActiveProtective, initially as the VP of Product Development and later as the CTO and Interim CEO. Currently, they hold the position of CEO at ActiveProtective.

Wamis Singhatat completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Akron from 1993 to 1997. Wamis then pursued a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of California, Davis from 1997 to 1999. In 2009, Wamis took part in an executive education program focused on Open Innovation and Corporate Entrepreneurship at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. In 2010, they attended a Kellogg Executive Education program, specializing in Marketing Healthcare Products. Additionally, in 2011, Wamis completed another program at Kellogg Executive Education, this time focusing on Finance for Executives.
