Marc Gutman

Marc Gutman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Marc started their career as a Math Teacher at Watershed High School in 2001 and remained in this role until 2006. During this time, they also formed a partnership with Matheatre, an independent theatre company that combines math and theatre. From 2006 to 2012, Marc was a Partner at Matheatre, developing new material and performing their production "Calculus: the Musical!" at various venues. Following this, they returned to Watershed High School as a Math Teacher and Administrative Assistant from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, they transitioned to the tech industry and became a System Administrator at Digital River. Marc then advanced to the role of System Engineer at the same company from 2016 to 2018. Marc joined Matheatre LLC in 2016 as the Managing Director before moving to their current position as a Build Engineer at ActiveState in 2018.

Marc Gutman attended the University of Minnesota from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Marc further pursued their education at the same university and completed their Master of Education degree in Mathematics Education from 2003 to 2006.
