Nicole Schwartz has extensive work experience spanning different industries and roles. Nicole started their career as a Business Analyst at ARAMARK, where they managed the lifecycle of content management systems and online ordering processes for Higher Education Line of Business. Nicole also served as a Systems Analyst, ensuring stable environments for IT applications and providing production server support.
Nicole then joined Rackspace Hosting as a Technical Product Manager, overseeing concurrent projects and coordinating with stakeholders. Nicole continued to excel in this role as a Technical Product Manager IV at Rackspace, where they managed Agile teams working on customer-facing websites.
Next, Nicole worked as the Owner of the USA Distribution Center and Blender at The Devotea, where they negotiated franchise agreements, managed supplier and customer relationships, and handled financial and inventory management.
Nicole subsequently joined GEICO as a Scrum Master, acting as an Agile coach and improving the consistency of Agile practices across teams.
Nicole then transitioned to GitLab Inc., where they worked as a Senior Product Manager, setting the vision for the Secure, Composition Analysis team and integrating application security testing tools into the DevOps cycle.
In 2019, they became a researcher at the Internet of Dongs Project, focusing on investigating the security and privacy implications of internet-connected sex toys and raising industry standards through independent research.
Most recently, Nicole joined ActiveState as the Senior Product Manager of Growth, responsible for driving the growth and success of the company's products.

Nicole Schwartz holds a Master of Science degree in Information Technology Interdisciplinary Major from Clarkson University, which they obtained in 2005. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Management Information Services from Clarkson University in 2004.
