Michael Adams has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2007, they worked as an intern at Städtische Museen Jena where they translated texts and assisted with museum operations. From 2011 to 2012, they had multiple roles at Bucknell University, including being a ropes course facilitator and a math tutor. In 2011, they completed an internship at CMPA and STATS. From 2012 to 2015, they volunteered with the Peace Corps. Michael then worked at the National Museum of Mathematics from 2016 to 2018 as an Outreach Educator and Assistant Floor Manager. In 2018, they joined ActiveViam as an R&D Software Engineer, and in 2020, they became a Software Developer at Hypothesis.

Michael Adams attended Warrior Run High School from 2003 to 2007, where they completed their high school education. In 2008, they enrolled at Bucknell University and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics.
