Bert Visscher has held various positions throughout their career. Bert started as a System Architect at No Wires Needed in 2001, and then moved to Intersil where they continued as a System Architect until 2004. Bert then worked as a System Architect at GlobespanVirata for a short period of time. From 2005 to 2006, they served as a System Architect at Conexant, where they defined reference designs for wireless solutions. Bert then joined NXP and took on the role of Principal Software Engineer from 2006 to 2008. Bert continued in the same role at ST-NXP Wireless from 2008 to 2009, and later at ST-Ericsson from 2009 to 2011. From 2011 to 2015, Bert worked as an Interim Consultant for various companies. Since 2015, they have been with ActiveVideo, initially as a Platform Architect, then as a Technical Release Manager, and currently as the Director of Engineering.
