Joakim Brunnestom

Joakim Brunnestom is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the mobile gaming and software engineering sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Mobile Technology at Activision since July 2021, Brunnestom previously held senior roles at King, including Senior Director of Partner Engineering and Director of Partner Engineering, from April 2015 to July 2021. Prior experience includes significant contributions at Sony Computer Entertainment America, where Brunnestom was a Manager in Software Engineering and later a Senior Principal Engineer, specializing in cross-platform gaming technologies for PlayStation Mobile. Additional experience includes technical roles at Tactel US Inc and Sony Ericsson, where Brunnestom focused on developing mobile application frameworks and support for Sony Ericsson smartphones. Brunnestom's academic background features studies at the School of Future Entertainment and a course in Spanish language and culture in Tenerife, Spain.
