Jonathan Sanborn, CPA

Jonathan Sanborn, CPA, has over 10 years of experience in the accounting and finance field. Jonathan began their career in 2011 as a Senior Accountant at the Zappos Family of Companies. In 2012, they became the Controller at TRX Training, where they were responsible for sales tax filing/reporting, month end close process, and audit preparation. In 2014, they moved to SHIFT (by Project 100) as the Master of Money, where they were responsible for all things accounting and finance related. In 2015, they transitioned to VTF Capital as a Fund Controller, where they were responsible for all things accounting/finance with the fund. In 2018, they returned to the Zappos Family of Companies as a Senior Portfolio Analyst. In 2019, they began working as a Financial Accounting Specialist at BQ Advisors, LLC, a Consultant at CFO Hub, and a Financial Mentor at octopy.io. In 2020, they were appointed Director of Finance And Operations at Inspired Insight. Jonathan currently holds the role of Controller at actnano, Inc.

Jonathan Sanborn, CPA, obtained a Masters of Science in Taxation from Bentley University - McCallum Graduate School of Business between 2004 and 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The George Washington University between 1999 and 2003.
