Kris Mauren has extensive work experience in the field of global public policy and education. Kris is the President and co-founder of the Acton Institute, a think tank focused on the intersection of religion and liberty. Kris has been with the Acton Institute since its inception in 1990 and has played a key role in publishing printed matter in multiple languages, organizing educational conferences, and producing multi-media films and curricula. The Acton Institute has a significant annual budget and manages international offices in Italy and Argentina.
Additionally, Kris Mauren has served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the John Templeton Foundation since 2016.
Kris Mauren attended Lakeside School from 1983 to 1985. Following this, they pursued a BA in International Relations at The Johns Hopkins University from 1985 to 1989.
