John Elliot Simpkins

John joined Aceto in August, 2019 with more than 25 years of executive Human Resources experience. Prior to joining Aceto, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Drive Medical for 4 years. Drive was one of North America’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of durable medical equipment. John was also a member of Drive’s executive management committee where he led the companies global human capital initiatives. John began his Human Resources career at Henry Schein, Inc., a Fortune 500 company and the world’s largest supplier of office-based healthcare products. In 1992, he was named Director of HR operations and in his 20+ career took on increased responsibilities up to and including leading Henry Schein’s talent acquisition and diversity functions globally. John is a graduate of St. John’s University where he earned degrees in Political Science and Communications. He is also certified in Human Resources by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), where he has earned SHRM-SCP certification.
