Daniel Shir

Daniel Shir has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Daniel is currently a Contributor at GoRetro, an agile retrospective tool company. Previously, they served as the Co-Founder & CTO of Acumen Labs and worked as a Media Lab Infrastructure Teacher and Advisor at Reichman University. Daniel also had mentoring roles at Techstars and Rakuten Viber. Daniel held various positions at Rakuten Viber, including Head of Data Engineering and Head of API. As a Co-Founder & CTO of Nextpeer, they played a key role in developing a platform for real-time multiplayer gaming. Before that, they worked as an Independent Software Consultant, specializing in iOS and Android development. Daniel started their career as a Developer and project manager in Unit 8200, where they received recognition for innovative solutions. Overall, Daniel's experience showcases their expertise in backend development, data engineering, teaching, and entrepreneurship.

Daniel Shir obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Reichman University, where they studied from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, they received certification as a Licensed Consultant from the State of Israel in January 2011.
