Mengyu Liu (Aya)

Mengyu (Aya) Liu is a seasoned policy professional with extensive experience in data analysis and environmental research. Currently serving as Policy Lead and previously as Data and Policy Analyst at Acumen, LLC since October 2018, Mengyu has also held internships at Resources for the Future and the World Resources Institute, focusing on shale gas and green finance, respectively. Mengyu's academic background includes a Graduate Certificate in Data Science and a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from the University of Michigan, along with an MSc in Geography from UCL and a BS in Environmental Science from Nanjing University. Prior work experience includes roles at the Ministry of Environmental Protection in China and the Chinese Academy for Environmental Planning, enhancing a comprehensive understanding of environmental policies and practices.
