Mercedes de la Vega

Mercedes de la Vega has extensive experience in energy partnerships and strategic initiatives, currently serving as Energy Partnerships Manager at Acumen since June 2020, having progressed through various roles within the organization. Prior to this, Mercedes held research and teaching assistant positions at The Earth Institute, Columbia University, and participated in internships and assistantships focused on sustainable development and natural resources. Previous roles include producer and collaborator at Líderes TV, and positions in communications and relations at Techint Group and Ternium. Mercedes holds a Master of Public Administration in Development Practice from Columbia University and is pursuing advanced studies in local and territorial development and social economy, alongside executive education in social responsibility and sustainability.
