Ian Jones

Ian Jones has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries.

In their current role at Acuutech, which they started in October 2022, Ian serves as the Pre-Sales Lead for Az Stack HCI and Microsoft Hybrid Cloud.

Prior to Acuutech, Ian worked at Kinaxis from December 2019 to November 2022 as a Technical Business Consultant, overseeing the Technical Business Consulting role outside of the USA. Here, they were involved in all sales processes from start to finish.

From June 2019 to December 2019, Ian held the position of EUC Pre-Sales Practice Lead/Solutions Architect at SCC. Ian led the EUC Pre-Sales team, specializing in technologies around the EUC stack and creating architectural designs.

In 2018, Ian served as the Director of Sales and Business Development/Pre-Sales/Vendor Manager at Howell Technology Group, where they managed and grew partnerships, negotiated reseller partnerships, and worked closely with cloud teams from various vendors.

Their previous roles include Senior Sales Engineer Northern EMEA at Liquidware from October 2017 to July 2018, Pre-sales & Automation Consultant at Metsi Technologies from July 2017 to October 2017, Senior Solutions Architect EMEA at Unidesk from April 2016 to June 2017, Lead Pre-Sales Consultant at Unitrends from September 2011 to March 2016, Systems Engineer at Wyse Technology from April 2011 to September 2011, and Pre Sales Consultant at Avecto from October 2010 to April 2011.

Throughout their career, Ian has demonstrated expertise in various technologies, including Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, and more, and has been actively involved in the pre-sales process, partner management, and technical support for customers.

Ian Jones attended Kelsterton College from 1985 to 1986, where they studied Electronics and Computers. Prior to that, they attended Prestatyn High School until 1985. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Microsoft Azure Partner Sales Bootcamp in December 2022 from Microsoft. Ian also acquired certifications such as Automation Pro I and Automation Pro II from Workato in May 2022, Associate Administrator Certification 2021 from Boomi in September 2021, and various certifications from Informatica, Citrix, Nutanix, VMware, Amazon Web Services, and BeyondTrust throughout the years.
