Maarten Hermans

Maarten Hermans is an experienced professional currently serving as a member of staff at ACV, Algemeen Christelijk Vakverbond, focusing on quality of work, employee voice, and social dialogue. Maarten is also a board member at Eurofound and a guest lecturer at Odisee, teaching on social dialogue and quality of work. Maarten collaborates voluntarily with the Vrije Universiteit Brussel's Department of Sociology in research on labor and wellbeing. Additionally, Maarten is a core member of Denktank Minerva and previously held positions as a guest lecturer and assistant at Universiteit Gent and as a senior research associate at HIVA-KU Leuven, where extensive research on labor relations and social dialogue was conducted. Maarten began an academic career as a teaching assistant and scientific researcher at the University of Antwerp after obtaining both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Sociology from KU Leuven.
