Eric Lau

Eric Lau, MBA, CPA, FRM has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Eric is currently the Head of Accounting and Tax at Ada Health since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Accounting at medisana GmbH from December 2020 to August 2022. Eric also served as the FP&A Manager at Raisin from February 2019 to December 2020. Eric has held leadership positions as the Financial Director at Epic Technology Ltd. from October 2018 to February 2019 and as the Head of Management Accounting at Canon from July 2012 to March 2017. Eric also worked as an Accountant at Gucci from June 2010 to July 2012 and as a Senior Associate at PwC from December 2006 to January 2010. Additionally, Eric worked as a Consultant for the SDG FinTech Initiative at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management from June 2018 to September 2018. Eric Lau brings a wealth of experience in finance and accounting to each role they undertake.

Eric Lau holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with double majors in Accounting and Management from HKUST Business School, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006. Eric also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, completed between 2017 and 2018. Additionally, Eric has obtained additional certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and as a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals in 2010. Eric also holds a certification as an Open Water Scuba Instructor from PADI.
