Leonard Corral

Leonard Corral has a robust background in law enforcement, currently serving as a Public Safety Officer at Adams County Memorial Hospital since March 2023. Prior to this role, Corral held the position of Chief of Police at the Decatur Police Department from January 2018 to March 2023, providing leadership and administrative oversight. Corral's career with the Decatur Police Department began in 1994, progressing through ranks from Patrol Officer to Police Sergeant, and then Detective Lieutenant, where responsibilities included investigating felony crimes and participating in the Adams/Wells DETECT Drug Task Force. Corral started in law enforcement as a Jail Officer at the Adams County Sheriff’s Department from 1992 to 1994. Educational accomplishments include completion of the Police Executive Law Enforcement Academy in 2020 and the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in 1995, along with a high school diploma from Bellmont High School.
