John Poynton

John Poynton is an experienced professional in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and organizational change. Currently serving as an Engagement Strategist at BrandED Consultants Group since August 2015 and as an Executive Director for Communications, Engagement, and Planning at Adams County School District 14 since November 2018, John excels in public deliberation, ballot initiatives, and brand management. John's prior experience includes roles as Executive Director of Organizational Development & Communications at St. Vrain Valley Schools and Director of Communications at Front Range Community College. John holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Learning, Performance, and Change, as well as a Master’s degree and Bachelor's degree in related fields from Colorado State University and Loyola University Chicago, respectively.
