JD Cordova has extensive experience in law enforcement, currently serving as Commander at the Adams County Sheriff's Office in Colorado since January 2019. Previous roles include law enforcement position at the City and County of Denver, and various roles at Heska Corporation, including Account Manager and Diagnostic Sales Manager. JD Cordova has also held positions such as Project Lead at Arbor Force, Financial Professional at Prudential Financial, and National Trustee-Colorado at the Grand Lodge, Fraternal Order of Police. Additional experience includes Manager of Public Safety Relations at ICMA-RC and a longstanding role as Police Officer in the City of Fort Collins. Leadership experience is highlighted by serving as President of the Colorado State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police. JD Cordova earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology/Criminology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
