Gloria Carter

Gloria Carter is an experienced accountant with a robust background in tax preparation and financial management. Currently serving as an Accountant at Adams, Jenkins & Cheatham since January 2022, Gloria specializes in tax preparation for individuals, entities, estates, and trusts, along with inventory and accounting management for estates and trusts. Prior experience includes an Accounting Associate role at Mitchell, Wiggins & Company, where Gloria processed tax returns and managed client financial records. Gloria's early career involved significant responsibilities at Virginia T's as Assistant Controller/Accounts Payable Manager/Human Resources, and as Assistant Staff Accountant at PruCare of Richmond. Gloria holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia Tech, earned between 1981 and 1985.
