Simona Perotto

Simona Perotto has significant work experience in the field of scientific computing and mathematical modeling. Simona is currently serving as the Co-Founder and President of ADAPTA studio since April 2021. Prior to this, they were a Member of the Scientific Committee of Master in Mathematical and Physical Methods for Space Sciences at the Università degli Studi di Torino since May 2019.

Simona has also held multiple roles at Politecnico di Milano, including being a Member of the Management Committee of the Interdepartmental Laboratory MetaMAT-Lab since February 2017. Simona has served as an Associate Professor since December 2010 and previously worked as an Assistant Professor from September 2001 to December 2010.

Additionally, Simona worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher on "Interdisciplinary Parallel Adaptive CFD Solvers" at Politecnico di Milano from November 2000 to August 2001. Before this, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher in Scientific Computing and Mathematical Modeling at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from November 1998 to October 2000.

Simona Perotto completed their Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics at Università degli Studi di Torino in 1995. Later on, they pursued their Ph.D. in Computational Mathematics and Operations Research at Università degli Studi di Milano, which they completed in 1999.
