Kate Newey

Kate Newey (nee Melville) has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as the Head of Human Resources at Adaptalift Group since October 2012. In this role, Kate oversees HR functions for a group of eight associated entities that employ 650 staff across Australia and New Zealand. Previously, Kate held positions such as Group HR Business Partner for a client group of approximately 500 employees and HR Consultant at Repco, along with HR roles at Kraft Foods, Wettenhalls Group, and Amdel. Kate holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Human Resources and Management from Deakin University and completed secondary education at Methodist Ladies’ College in Melbourne.
