Tom Barnard Jr

Tom Barnard Jr has extensive work experience in the engineering and manufacturing field. Tom currently holds the position of Director of Mechanical Engineering at Adaptec Solutions since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Maris Systems Design where they held various roles including Manufacturing Manager from May 2022 to December 2022, Manager Project Management from December 2020 to May 2022, and Engineering Manager from January 2016 to November 2019. Tom also held the positions of Project Engineer from September 2013 to December 2015 and Manufacturing Manager from October 2007 to September 2013 at Maris Systems Design. Before that they worked at Meikle Automation as a Mechanical Build Supervisor from 2004 to 2007 and at Alliance Automation as a Machine Builder from 1993 to 2004.

From 1990 to 1993, Tom Barnard Jr attended the Rochester Tooling and Machining Institute, where they pursued a field of study in Journeyman Toolmaker.
